Curved piecing will be the death of me. Seriously. Planning out curved piecing that has to match up perfectly--perfectly--oy. I'm not sure how many time's I'll have to try designing the blocks, cutting them out, and sewing them but it's going to be more than normal. The death of me, I tell you.
In the meantime I've sewn my first dresden plate.
My camera and the purple fabric weren't getting along very well, so the colors are way off. The center is more of a citron yellow and the purples aren't quite so blue. I'll have to get the Nerd Father to take a picture of it with his fancy-shmancy camera to show off the colors better.
I thought the back was kind of fun, too :) Today I'm going to try and find a good background fabric for it.

Back to the drawing board..... Sigh.
